Keeping my gear protected while I am in the field is always a concern of mine. I focus on adding gear that is durable and can keep up with my demands. Luckily, there is plenty of gear out there that can fill that need. However, when it comes to delicate equipment such as COMM gear, we need to take extra care. I enjoy a good cigar every now and then especially after a great day in the outdoors. A few years ago I received a gift that contained 5 cigars and a case. Between my 3 dogs, scouts, friends, NTC members… Things are constantly getting tossed around in my Jeep where I store my portable components. Knowing that my gear is in crush-proof cases gives me one less thing to worry about.
