We often take our loyal companions for granted when it comes to On-The-Go gear. It’s not a huge factor if you tend to leave your dogs at home but for those of us that have our pets with us in the field; proper gear is a must. IF you are preparing for emergency scenarios and have not given much thought to the gear needs of your pets..It’s time to start. Having the right equipment for your pet not only allows them to have a better experience but it makes our lives easier. Having good pet gear assists us in enjoying our adventure and/or in accomplishing the mission at hand. When we choose gear for our pets, we want to hold that gear to the same standards that we demand from our own equipment. When you think about it, your dogs’ gear is just an extension of your own personal gear.

One thing that is crucial when I am out in the field with my dogs is the need to keep them hydrated. After all, it’s not like they can tell me when they are thirsty so it has to be a conscience thought process on my part. Taking water breaks ensures that both you and your dog stay hydrated. It also helps to keep them away from “suspect” water sources while we are on the move and not always paying attention.

Recently, I got to test out the BUSTER Collapsible Dog Water Bowl while out hiking with my dogs. I have used other collapsible bowls but I wasn’t impressed with them. These BUSTER bowls are made of a much more durable silicone than the others that I used in the past. The fact that they are BPA-Free and made from food grade silicone definitely gets these bowls a thumbs-up from me!
