Here Is My Video Review Of The DayLite Hikers:

Minimalist shoes have been a part of my lifestyle for the past 10 years. Before then, I had some knee issues that were prohibiting me from being active. I was told by various doctors that surgery was my only choice. I began looking for other solutions since I am certainly no fan of surgery or cadaver parts. I began learning and refining my movement in order to build certain muscle groups that would aid me with my goal. The more information that I gathered, the more aware that I became of the importance of proper body alignment.DayLite Hiker - lightweight zero drop minimalist hiking boot from Xero Shoes

Conventional shoes feature all of the newest and latest technology. This technology was doing the work that my actual muscles and tendons needed to perform. By utilizing less technology on my feet, I was allowing my body to move the way that it was naturally designed to do. It wasn’t a quick or easy process, but considering what my alternative was… I stuck with it and was able to regain my active lifestyle.

There are various companies providing good minimalist footwear solutions. However, when it comes to listening to their customers and continually developing and refining, XERO Shoes certainly tops the list in my view. They are a small company that truly believes in what they do, and their product line shows it. So when XERO Shoes calls upon me to review their latest shoe model… I was certainly up for the task.

Recently I was sent the DayLite Hiker shoe to review. I was heading out to Europe shortly after the DayLite Hikers were delivered. I knew that I was going to face very diversified terrain while I was on my trip and this would be the perfect venue to provide a fair review for the newest XERO Shoes model. I arrived in Europe and in no time, I was out on the trail testing out my new pair of the DayLite Hiker shoes.
