Here Is My Video Review On The SOG Pillar Knife:

There is something about a good blade that always makes me smile. For as long as I can remember, knives have always been a big part of my life. Whether it was spending time with my grandfather in Portugal or my days as a boy scout, a knife was ever present. I was taught early on that a knife needs to be cared for and respected. I have held that philosophy, very close to me, and continue to do so.

Recently, I was able to add a new fixed blade to my “arsenal.” This blade is an SOG Pillar fixed blade knife. Right from the unboxing, this knife exudes quality. The fact that it is made in the USA, also added to the allure of this knife. It feels great in the hand and is incredibly well balanced. From the minute that I began to wield it, it became an extension of my hand. Regardless of the knife that you decide to carry, making it a part of you is something that can not be taken lightly. In order to achieve that proficiency, you need to practice with your knife… And practice often.

The sheath on this knife is a low-profile, kydex sheath. It is fully adjustable and locking. Whether you choose to carry tip up, tip down or horizontally, the sheath will adjust to your needs.
