My dogs are a big part of my life. To me, they are family and I mean that in every sense of the word. So when it comes to their health and well-being… I will stop at nothing to do all that I can to enhance their quality of life, in the short time that I am able to enjoy their presence.
Manchester
Manchester was my best-buddy for 14 years. He was a bundle of energy that only those with a passion for Jack Russell Terriers could appreciate. A couple of years ago I began to notice changes in Manchester. He was grumpy (well, more than usual), short-tempered and seemed to be experiencing discomfort. I brought Manchester to the vet and was told that he should be put on Prozac. Now, I’m a big fan of veterinarians and I am thankful for them everyday. However, that doesn’t mean that I am always going to agree with everything that they recommend. Prozac wasn’t something that I was keen on for humans let alone giving it to my little buddy. I wanted Manchester to be Manchester again, not just some lump sitting in the corner; behaving almost lifeless. So I began doing some additional research. I came across articles that were touting the benefits of CBD on dogs. I was familiar with CBD and its great medicinal benefits but… only as it pertained to humans. I was also aware of the controversy and legal issues because CBD is derived from the -Oh So Scary- Cannabis plant. In layperson’s terms, here is my explanation of CBD. There are two main components to the Cannabis plant (there are many more than that but this is the extreme layperson’s version). The first component is THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) which has health benefits but also causes the psycho-active or high feeling. The second component to the plant is Cannabidiol (CBD) which is what contains all of the medicinal benefits that I am discussing in this review. Do keep in mind that CBD is currently legal in all 50 States in the USA. Learn More About The Hemp Derived CBD Process:
Bruno

I decided to give Manchester CBD and hoped for the best.

Within a few days of giving him the recommended CBD dosage, I started noticing a change in Manchester. He was more relaxed. To be honest, that is all that I was hoping for.

Bruno And Manchester

I knew that CBD wasn’t going to extend Manchester’s life, all I wanted was to add quality, to the life that Manchester had left. And that, CBD did.

I have since lost Manchester but I was able to give him the best quality of life that I could. Looking back… Man, I’m thankful that I did. It really hasn’t been a good year for us and our furry “kids.” A couple of months ago, our rescue Pit bull Bruno, was diagnosed with lymphoma. It was devastating news but my wife and I quickly jumped into: “Let’s give Bruno the best life -that he could possibly have- while we can” mode. After Bruno’s first two chem sessions, we noticed that he was acting lethargic; he even seemed in pain. I knew that CBD would help him and sought advice. I sent an email to the company whose CBD brand I was using for Manchester and I have yet to hear back. Let’s just say that I won’t be recommending that company to anyone. I began searching for another product line. However, not all CBD is created equally. Not only did Bruno’s CBD need to be manufactured in the USA and lab tested to top quality, but the support from the manufacturer had to be on the money. I came across a company with a CBD line that matched my criteria called Joy Organics. I sent an email to Joy Organics and received a reply in nearly, record time. I was happy with their reply and picked up some of the Joy Organics CBD Dog Treats. CBD is not cheap and I wanted to make sure that Bruno would do well with the supplementation before I invested in further products. Just as expected, Bruno’s behavior began to change within days of me giving him his first CBD treats. He was more relaxed as well as playful. He began acting more like Bruno again. To my wife and I… this was a sigh of relief that we cannot put into words. Bruno is currently doing well and we are hoping for the best. He does seem a bit lonely so we are thinking of adopting a little brother or sister for him. I will be reviewing other CBD products for both human and pet consumption so be sure to join my newsletter to stay posted. If Bruno does get a new sibling, you’ll be one of the first to know. 😉 Bottom Line: If you want a trusted line of CDB products for both you and your pets health, that is made in the USA, take a close look at Joy Organics. I’m happy so far and hope to keep enhancing Bruno’s life with their products.
