When I am in my truck, I enjoy having the windows cracked a bit to keep the fresh air circulating. Unfortunately, the noise at times is unbearable, especially at higher speeds. And if it is raining, even just a drizzle, the windows need to remain closed. The solution that I found many years ago was side window deflectors from Weathertech. I had them on my old SUV and when I picked up my new Chevy Colorado, they were one of the accessories that were at the top of my list.
These side window deflectors keep the noise in my truck to a minimum when the window is cracked open. I am able to listen to music and use my hands-free phone setup without having to close my windows. An issue that I see with many of the other side window deflectors, even the factory installed deflectors, is they they do not look good. They may do the job but when I buy a new shiny truck, I want it to look better when I add accessories, not the opposite. Well, with the Weathertech deflectors, I feel that my truck looks even better than it did before I put them on.
Installation is incredibly simple and I had all 4 deflectors installed in less than 15 minutes. I followed the simple instructions in the manual and found the process to be a breeze.
